The skill of independence is important, especially towards education concerning classes where you have to be self directed majority of the time. It allows me to manage time, set good routines, and find helpful resources without any unnecessary supervision. For attaining my dream career, this attribute is good for me because it gives me the self-determination needed to take hard courses without having anyone to remind me of how much effort I need to put in.
Prioritization directly impacts my development concerning education and my career because in academics it allows me to focus more attention on tasks which have more impact on my grades which could transfer to my work ethic in my job. As a forensic scientist, this ability to prioritize important tasks would help get better results when it matters, like deciding which pieces of evidence take precedence to be analyzed over others.
In education, my patience helps me not get frustrated when a topic confuses me. Instead, I take my time going through it and overcome any obstacles I could not get past before. This patience is beneficial for my career because solving cases takes time and as a forensic scientist, it can involve meticulously going over files, evidence, and photographs.
